This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and cover with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in a 184 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 575/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, and features premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55. The unit has a PEI of 0.89. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates a simple piping layout and self-venting.
