This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 40 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor operates at 3450 RPM with a TEFC enclosure and is powered by 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. It features a JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The starting option is across the line and the rotation is CCW. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
