This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a 284T NEMA frame. This motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler with a coupler guard. It operates in a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI of 0.9.
