This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit is fitted with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards (MG1-12.55) and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods flexible coupler to connect the pump to the driver and features greasable bearings in the bearing frame. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
