This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP WEG motor in an ODP enclosure with a NEMA 145 T-frame. The electrical configuration requires 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.88.
