This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration supports operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM using a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 184 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the standard Woods coupler. This unit features greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
