This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation up to 225 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 215T NEMA frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods flexible coupler. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings for support. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
