This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and an integrated bronze wear ring. The cast iron casing contains a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft configuration to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor, configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power. The motor is a NEMA 145 T-Frame style. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. Additional technical features include across-the-line starting, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. The bearing frame utilizes permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
