This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and is designed to allow service without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 286T frame. It is configured for 380/60/3 power with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly includes a welded steel base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
