This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring installed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat and carbon rotor with Buna rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 225°F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler covered by a coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This pump meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.94.
