This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain the dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is driven by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 286T NEMA frame operating at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation and provides a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
