This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The casing is cast iron and incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and does not include a wear ring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 284T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. It is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration meets NEMA standards and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.93.
