This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Sealing is accomplished through a mechanical seal comprising ceramic and EPT components. The hydraulic design is rated for 125 PSI and integrates flush seal line taps to allow for the installation of external particle filtration. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The 30 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and integrates Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V / 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI of 0.48. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
