This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The assembly uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump design supports rear pullout for maintenance and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps for particle filtration.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is configured with a 213 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It utilizes a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating. This pump configuration has a PEI value of 0.9.
