This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design to facilitate service. It is built with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring, operating at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump uses a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182 JM motor frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and operates at 1750 RPM. This motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line. The assembly has an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and a standard counter-clockwise rotation. The unit is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.86.
