This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI of 0.91. The pump utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings and is set for CCW rotation.
