This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM WEG TEFC motor in a 254 T-frame enclosure. It operates on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This pump has a PEI of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
