This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 324TS frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump has a PEI of 0.93 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
