This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge gauge ports and a drain port for maintenance.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP TEFC Baldor Super E motor, which meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration requires a 230/460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is housed in a NEMA 215 frame and is EISA compliant. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and is connected to the motor through a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
