This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a NEMA 215T frame and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply using across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
