This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The configuration uses a NEMA 213 T-frame motor with an ODP enclosure, designed for 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. This equipment meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.86.
