This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal sealing system consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This unit is rated for clean water service at temperatures up to 300°F and incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP NEMA T frame motor, size 182. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. The system features a DOE PEI of 0.91 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The unit is designed for a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation.
