This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The construction incorporates flush seal line taps for particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout assembly allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge design facilitates self-venting. The pump is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F.
This pump utilizes a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured in a 184JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is compatible with a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The unit is configured with an across-the-line starting option.
