This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to separate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump design incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is a NEMA 254T frame configuration and operates on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. A Woods standard coupler connects the pump and motor, protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
