This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical power supply is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. It features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a DOE PEI of 0.88. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and connects to the motor using a Woods coupler. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
