This close-coupled end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical design incorporates a dry shaft that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber gaskets operates at pressures up to 125 PSI. The casing incorporates a wear ring, while flush seal line taps allow for the integration of a filtration system. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
Powered by a 2 HP, premium efficiency, TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly utilizes Aegis Grounding and operates on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.43. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
