This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed in a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E motor. It uses a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 256 frame, and is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant guard. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. It is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8.
