This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with a top center line design. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components is installed, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F in clean water applications. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 25 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and operates on a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The starting option is across the line. The ambient operating temperature is 40 °C. This unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.9.
