This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power, 40°C ambient temperature, and NEMA standard performance. It features AEGIS shaft grounding, CCW rotation, and is built on a JM motor frame with feet. The unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.94. The system is rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F.
