This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 284 T frame. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI of 0.97. The motor enclosure is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
