This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and uses a NEMA 324TS frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler covered by a guard. It supports across-the-line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a PEI of 0.94.
