This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal assembly operates at temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in reducing piping strain.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 256 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The electrical input is 575/60/3 PH, and the motor meets NEMA premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding, across the line starting, and a counterclockwise rotation. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.97.
