This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 213 T-frame and uses a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This model is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a PEI of 0.85.
