This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. Pressure tappings are standard on suction and discharge connections, with a flush seal line tap included for maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a 326T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. It is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings and the pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
