This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter, cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping and servicing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and the unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. It uses a 256JM motor frame with feet for mounting and is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with standard counter-clockwise rotation.
