This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The motor is NEMA standard, utilizes CCW rotation, and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.92.
