This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration supports operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F and utilizes AEGIS shaft grounding.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and uses a NEMA 215 T frame. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump and motor. This unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
