This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a stainless steel shaft protected by a dry shaft design and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure in a NEMA 284TS frame, configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards with a 40°C ambient rating. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration uses across the line starting, features CCW rotation, and has a PEI rating of 0.9.
