This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 13-1/2", and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and features a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP, TEFC, NEMA 326 T-frame Baldor motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan. A Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor, secured by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient operating environment with standard CCW rotation.
