This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is cast iron and incorporates pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP motor. It is configured with a NEMA 324 T-frame motor featuring an ODP enclosure and Baldor construction, rated for 230-460/60/3 PH power. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. The unit has a pump efficiency index of 0.92.
