This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a 405 T frame. The electrical configuration is 460V, 3PH, 60Hz with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
