This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame. It uses a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It includes greasable bearings and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with a DOE PEI value of 0.85. The system is configured for 40°C ambient temperatures.
