This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes top center-line discharge and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows access to internal components without disturbing system piping, and the casing includes flush seal line taps for filter installation.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor, which includes a drip cover and a NEMA 254 JM frame with mounting feet. The motor operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions, meets NEMA standards, and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump rotation is counter-clockwise. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated with a PEI of 0.9.
