This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1450 RPM and is powered by a 15 kw Marathon motor. It is configured with a TEFC IP55 enclosure, Class F insulation, and Class B temperature rise. Electrical requirements are 415V, 50Hz, 3PH, with a WYE Delta starting option. The motor is an IEC 160L frame, style B3 foot-mounted unit with an IE3 efficiency rating and a 1.0 service factor. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler with a standard guard.
