This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to protect the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pull-out design allows for maintenance without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 145 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes a standard counter-clockwise rotation.
