This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrally cast mounting foot. It incorporates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal with ceramic and EPT components manages fluid containment, while a dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The unit maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
The assembly utilizes a 125 HP Premium Efficiency ODP 1750 RPM motor with Aegis Grounding, operating at 380-460V / 3PH power, and achieves a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco’s advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
