This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. The shaft is constructed of stainless steel and is protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit is constructed without a wear ring and is compatible with clean water. The design incorporates a dry shaft and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump uses a 150 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 444 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The system features greasable bearings, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing at the non-drive end. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, meets NEMA standards, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
