This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It is designed to handle fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor operates in a 40 °C ambient environment and complies with NEMA standards. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
