This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. It features a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor. It is configured in a 182 JM frame with feet and features an ODP enclosure. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply requirement is 230-460/60/3PH, with an ambient temperature rating of 40°C. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83 and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration.
