This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ports configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, while the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disrupting system piping. The top center line discharge design assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 JM frame style featuring mounting feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
